Create Web Apps With Mozilla Prism

In this Ubuntu Video Tutorial we will be looking at installing and using Mozilla Prism. Prism creates a bookmark on your desktop that opens to a predetermined webpage in a bare-bones web browser with varying degrees of controls. You can choose whether to allow navigation keys, and controls, or if there should be a status bar. It works perfectly for social networking sites like twitter, or facebook, another great service to try with prism is organizer. It is fantastic for managing your images across different services. Prism is also great with aviary a cloud graphics design suite. I will be using gmail as an example in this tutorial, but there are plenty of great applications for prism. I like using prism as a way of accessing It is so simple to add the app to my dock in Ubuntu and be posting in minutes.
